With words by designer and advocate Nabela Noor, this story takes us through Zubi’s first day of school, and how good we want to show ourselves to the world, but not everyone in her life feels beautiful all the time. Zubi notices how her beloved family members dislike certain aspects of themselves, and she decides that she also needs to change something about herself with a diet. This brigs forth an important conversation and self love and what it means to be beautiful. With the help of artist Nabi H. Ali’s beautiful illustrations this is a heartwarming story about the importance of body positivity and spreading love and understanding in our world.
